The 2024 GV60 at a Glance

GV60 Review The South Korean brands are quickly cementing themselves as electric vehicle leaders. Based on the same architecture as the acclaimed Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, the Genesis GV60 offers a third equally - but uniquely - stylish way to experience one of the best EV platforms at any price. For one, it comes standard with 350-kilowatt DC fast-charging capability that allows it to replenish its battery faster than most EVs available today. And from the new-for-2024 rear-wheel-drive model with a 294-mile range to the 483-horsepower Performance trim that will hit 60 mph in less than 4 seconds, the GV60 is tremendously appealing in all kinds of ways.

Here at Genesis of Gwinnett, it is our mission to be the automotive home of drivers in the Duluth area. We provide a vast selection of new and used vehicles, exceptional car care, and customer service with a smile!

What is the Interior Like in the 2024 GV60?

To answer your question in simple terms: stunning!
The 2024 Genesis GV60 is a small, low-roofed crossover, but it looks and feels larger, thanks in part to a modern, wide-open interior design that capitalizes on the flat floor and long wheelbase made possible by its skateboard-style EV platform.

The reclining front bucket seats are separated by a center console that features an open parcel shelf and a small bin under its cantilevered upper arm. Rear seats are the flat bench type found in most crossovers, but with multi-position, semi-reclining seatbacks.

The clean, crisp dash features a sweeping glass-fronted panel housing a pair of 12.3-inch screens: a configurable driver's information panel on the left and a color touchscreen on the right. Climate system controls are housed separately in the lower center of the dash and there are vents for the rear seat passengers under the front seats' door pillars.

A rotary dial on the center console controls the touchscreen, which also responds to voice commands. A second rotary serves as the gear shifter and presents itself as a grooved metallic hemisphere when the power is on, for easy gripping and shifting. It revolves into the console when the power is off, revealing its other half, a crystal hemisphere.

2024 GV60 Infotainment, Connectivity,
& Convenience Features.

The 2024 Genesis GV60's 12.3-inch infotainment screen is control central for many of the car's functions, but there are physical knobs and switches for audio, climate, and lighting controls, and a rotary controller on the console that helps drivers keep their attention on the road.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and there's a wireless phone-charging pad in the center console, along with a pair of USB ports - one for data and charging - and there's also a pair of USB charging ports on the back of the console to serve the rear-seat occupants. Navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, and a Wi-Fi hotspot are standard as well.

The standard face recognition system lets owners unlock the GV60 without a key fob or digital key, and fingerprint authentication provides a security check needed to start the car.

The Standard trim gets an unbranded eight-speaker audio system while the Advanced and Performance trims get a 17-speaker Bang & Olufsen sound system. Both systems handle broadcast and satellite radio, and the B&O system also provides active noise-cancellation to keep the GV60's cabin hushed even at highway speeds.

As with other Genesis EVs, there's a power take-off function - V2L, or Vehicle-to-Load - that is standard on the top two GV60 trims. It uses a factory-supplied adapter to allow the battery pack to power 12-volt tools and appliances or even to offer an emergency trickle charge to another EV.

  • Power-folding heated mirrors
  • Auto-dimming mirrors
  • Hands-free liftgate
  • Automatic high beams
  • Fingerprint and facial recognition (for vehicle entry without a key)
  • 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster

How does the 2024 GV60 Handle on the Road?
The 2024 Genesis GV60 is available in a single-motor, rear-wheel-drive Standard trim and two dual-motor powertrain choices, each with standard all-wheel drive.

The base trim comes with a single, rear-mounted motor rated at 225 horsepower (168 kW) and 258 pound-feet of torque.

The Advanced trim comes with a 99-hp (74 kW) motor on the front axle and a 214-hp (160 kW) motor on the rear. Combined maximum output is 314 hp (234 kW) and 446 lb-ft.

The Performance trim uses 214-hp motors on both axles, good for 429 hp and 516 lb-ft in normal uses. A Boost mode activated by a chartreuse button on the steering wheel allows for a 10-second power burst to 483 hp. With Boost engaged, the GV60 Performance can turn in an impressive 3.7-second 0-60 mph sprint.

Both all-wheel-drive GV60 models are refined, comfortable, nimble, and fun to push hard on twisty roads. Steering is responsive and quick, and braking is confident, especially with the one-pedal maximum regenerative braking mode engaged.

Finally, the Performance trim's air suspension really smooths out bumps and its limited-slip differential keeps torque flowing in all the right directions.
