If you find yourself on the side of the road with a flat tire, don't despair. It's really quite simple to get your spare tire on so you can drive again. Here are some tips you can use if it's been awhile since you changed your last flat tire.

-Safety always comes first. Make sure that you are parked somewhere flat that's away from moving vehicles on the road.

-Remove the hub cap and loosen up the lug nuts on your tire before jacking up the vehicle.

-Fully remove the lug nuts and replace your flat tire with a spare tire.

-Lightly tighten the lug nuts back on your wheel before you lower it off the jack.

-Tighten all of the lug nuts before you drive.
